A native of Indiana, Mark graduated from Purdue University in 1975 when he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and Mathematics. He and his family have been residents of Sarasota since 1986.
Mark is Senior Vice President – Investments, at Vioni Capital Management, LLC, and an independent private wealth management firm located in Sarasota.
Mark holds Series 7 and Series 66 security licenses and has earned the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) by the College for Financial Planning.
In 2009 he was identified by Sarasota Magazine as one of the top personal wealth managers in the Sarasota area as determined by an independent survey.

Member of the Development Committee of the Sarasota OrchestraIn addition to his Habitat responsibilities, Mark also currently serves on the board of the Church of the Palms Foundation. Mark and his wife Mari first got involved with Habitat for Humanity Sarasota over ten years ago, leading volunteer youth groups from Church of the Palms-Presbyterian working on the Lime Lake neighborhood project.
In 2005, Mark was asked to help coordinate the first year of Operation ReHabitat, a joint venture of The Global Day of Prayer organization, the Front Porch Association and Habitat for Humanity Sarasota in a program to rehabilitate substandard homes in the Newtown community.
He joined the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Sarasota in 2008 and assumed the responsibilities as Chair in January 2010.
