Volunteers Needed!
No experience required! JOIN our volunteer teams and help renovate homes for local seniors. All skill levels are welcome. Advanced construction skills in electrical, carpentry, drywall and plumbing are always needed.
What, When and Where
Thursday and Saturday mornings from 7:45 to noon. Volunteers meet at 7:45 a.m. at 1782 Martin Luther King Boulevard. After checking in, you will receive a job-site assignment for the morning. Wear closed toed shoes, bring personal hand tools, gloves, hats and sunscreen. Shirts are required.

POSITION TITLE: Equipment and supply manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Organize equipment, tools and materials. Maintain tool and equipment tracking. Organize and supervise distribution of tools, materials and equipment to job sites. Maintain supply and materials stock levels. Ability to perform equipment/tool repairs a plus.

Operation ReHabitat
ReHabitat, as the name suggests, is the repair and maintenance of existing homes by Habitat volunteers.
The homes that qualify for this program are homes that the owners are unable to make repairs for themselves.
Although owners are unable to facilitate repairs, they are encouraged to participate with the volunteers.
Application qualifications are reviewed with owners and home inspections are made prior to acceptance into the program. Once accepted the scope of work is determined and the homeowners are given written conformation of the work to be performed.
Workdays are Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. to noon.
The satisfaction in ReHabitat is extremely powerful, in that, results are quickly recognized and the appreciation is felt by everyone.
