Sponsor a Home
Becoming the sponsor of a Habitat partner family endeavoring to build their house is easy! Simply contact our Executive Director, Tony Souza at (941) 365-0700, ext. 107 or tsouza@sarasotahabitat.com for specific details. Most groups prefer to proclaim ownership by investing $100,000 for house sponsorship. This, of course, entitles your group to actually participate in the house construction.

The reasons for choosing to become a house sponsor center around team-building and personal empowerment. Not only that, but the choice to sponsor a Habitat house is an entirely selfless act. Partner families-as well as the community-benefit as follows:

- offers Habitat homeowners an affordable 0% interest mortgage
