Group contributors are a very special collection of Habitat donors.
These sponsors collectively impact a low income family in Sarasota County through their generous donation, which helps to fund the materials and costs of building a Habitat for Humanity home.
Sponsorship includes the following:
- Acknowledgement on a sign on the home lot, which remains through the build until the formal Dedication of the home
- The receipt of updates on the build and on the homeowner family as they complete their educational classes and their “sweat equity” in their home
- Special acknowledgement at the Dedication of the sponsored home
- Special recognition in Habitat’s newsletter and on the website
- Sponsors and Co-sponsors, if they wish, can also participate as volunteers in the building of the home, which takes approximately 6 months.
