The Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement and Furniture Outlets include over 32,000 square feet of donated items that are sold to the public at affordable prices.
We are the ultimate recycling program. We keep one million pounds of usable products out of our landfills every year by cleaning, recycling and re-selling donated goods. Proceeds generated are then "recycled" to build Habitat houses! Items that are not in good enough condition to sell are used for scrap metal, or recycled in some other manner. We are truly an environmentally friendly business.
Our stores sell a variety of merchandise including, but not limited to: building materials; flooring; lighting fixtures; furniture; appliances; artwork; electronics; tools and hardware; plumbing supplies and lawn and garden items. We sell just about everything, including the kitchen sink. It is the perfect place to find a replacement item that may need a "vintage" touch. We also carry new items donated by store overstocks, builders and the community.

We also have an off-site warehouse in the old "Scotty's" hardware store, located at 325 School Avenue. "Scotty's" is our Furniture Clearance Center where you will find "rock bottom", blow-out pricing. Come early for the best selection.Scotty's is open 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays

COMPUTERS:We now accept used Computers, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Flat LCD Monitors, Computer Speakers, & PDA's. All must be models 2000 or newer. (Some restrictions may apply)

Habitat for Humanity salvages items from buildings being demolished or renovated and sells them at our Home Improvement Outlet.
Proceeds purchase materials to build homes for low-income working families in need. Donors receive a receipt for their donation.

Donated items may be dropped off during store hours, Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The store is located at 2095 17th Street (corner of 17th Street and East Avenue, just 1 block east of US 301) or to schedule a pick up of larger items, please call 363-0777 or

Donations are always welcome and are tax-deductible.

If you have a free day or two throughout the week, Habitat's Outlet and Furniture Store have many fun volunteer opportunities. We need people to arrange furniture and design attractive displays for our warehouse full of items ranging from building supplies to antiques to collectibles and home furnishings. If you are a "Handy-man" and can repair gadgets, we have a need for appliance, small engine, bicycles, etc. to be tested and repaired.
