As Habitat for Humanity Sarasota revolutionizes the concept of affordable housing development, we hope you find this new site informative and inspiring.
If you watched the Hammers and Hope video, you got the chance to hear directly from our home owners about how becoming part of Habitat for Humanity has changed their lives. We find that it’s rare for people to hear their stories without feeling called to join us in our efforts. Our new web site makes it easy for you to do just that.
We invite you to sign up to volunteer or donate, view our calendar of events, find helpful information, learn about becoming a home owner, contact our staff, and watch our progress as we strive to eradicate substandard housing throughout our community.
Habitat for Humanity Sarasota is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to building safe, decent, affordable housing for families in need. Our affiliate was created in 1986 and has built over 176 homes since our inception. With our current planning and wonderful partnerships, we are planning to build over 500 homes in the next five years! For a preview of future projects, click here now.
